Tables of Content Restaurant is located at 267 NW Cliff Street in the historic Sylvia Beach Hotel in Newport. Enjoy a family-style dining experience at tables of 6 or 8 in an oceanfront setting overlooking Nye Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Our chefs are inspired by the wonderful quality and availability of local ingredients. The seasonal menu, which changes every day, showcases a four-course dinner with a selection of entrées. We offer one seating each evening, at either 6pm or 7pm depending on the season, by reservations at least two hours prior.
A wonderful venue for larger dinner groups, and small celebration parties, it’s not suitable for very young children (infants and toddlers). Price is $28 per person, which includes appetizer through dessert with coffee or tea. Beer, wine, and other beverages are available; view our current wine list. Corkage is $15 per bottle. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay at Sylvia Beach Hotel. We serve every morning from 8:30 to 10 am. It starts with a trip around the buffet table featuring house made pastries (6 to choose from), fresh fruit, juices, and cereals, including our house-made granola, always a favorite.
Find a seat, pour a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy the view of the morning light over the ocean while waiting for your order to be taken. We alternate either an egg dish or pancakes every day.
Some of the house favorites are huevos rancheros, a fiesta to the palate; chile rellenos; Sylvia Beach Benedict with house-made english muffins; Dutch Baby pancakes; banana crepes with orange sauce; and almond poppy seed pancakes with almond cream sauce. These are just a sampling of the variety of entrées we offer during the week.
